The Cabinet of Ministers signed the memorandum on grain exports
The vacation period is going to finish. The agrarians have started the harvesting campaign, depending on the regions, at their own stage, the Cabinet of Ministers and main players with different associations have prepared some news for us. On August 17 a joint Memorandum was signed. The parties agreed on grain export in 2020-2021 in the volume of 17.5 million tons of wheat and one thousand tons of rye. Certainly, the balance of grain should be reconsidered in the end of the year again that was also agreed when in the fourth quarter of 2020 some corrections are expected to be made, according to new realia. Definitely, it’s not about quotas, quotas are a tougher term. It’s more about compromising solutions for Ukraine. Grain feed balance is uncertain till the end of the week and surely the government is trying to ensure and provide food security of the country. The Memorandum has been signed annually since 2011 and its main aim is the interaction between the participants of the market.Need advice?
